Fire breaks out in Secunderabad hotel, 8 killed, people jumped from window to save their lives

  Jagadguru  Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati , astrologer and Shankaracharya of Dwarka Sharda Peeth, passed away on Sunday.  He breathed his last at the age of 99 at Paramhansi Ganga Ashram at Jhoteshwar, Narsinghpur.  He was unwell for a long time.  It is said that he died of cardiac arrest.  Due to his death, a wave of mourning spread among the devotees and the saint community.  His disciple Brahmavidyananda told that he would be given samadhi in the ashram itself at 5 pm on Monday.
