The All India Senior Selection Committee on Monday night announced the 14-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup . Virat Kohli has made a comeback to the team, while India's star fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel were not available for selection due to injuries. He is currently in rehab at NCA in Bengaluru. The much-awaited Asia Cup cricket tournament will take place from August 27 this year. The 15th edition of the tournament (Asia Cup) will be played between six teams (the main event) in the UAE. Defending champions India is the most successful team, having won the trophy seven times. While the previous edition of the tournament was held in ODI format, this edition will have T20 format. The six teams are divided into two groups.
