Maa Canteen is going to start in Howrah District Hospital . Howrah Municipal Corporation has decided to open this canteen there. Keeping in mind the inconveniences faced by the relatives of the patients coming to the Howrah Hospital for treatment, the Municipal Corporation has announced to start off this canteen. After the opening of this canteen, many people will get its benefit. This will benefit the family members of the patient the most. It has also been announced that stalls will be provided by Self Help Groups on special occasions including Durga Puja. Regarding the menu of the canteen, the Municipal Corporation has informed us that the food will include rice, lentils, curry, and egg broth. This food will be available daily. Also on special days there will be special food. On special days the menu may sometimes include two eggs, sometimes fish and meat.
