Anushka showers love on Kohli's 'Virat' innings, latest post going viral
Very few would have predicted that Virat Kohli would end his drought of centuries in a T20 International cricket match. But the 1020-day wait against Afghanistan in Dubai on Thursday came to an end in the 2022 Asia Cup when he scored his career-best 122 not out off just 61 balls. This is the first century of Virat's T20 International career while the 71st century of international cricket. Kohli equaled former Australia captain Ricky Ponting by scoring his 71st international century. Kohli was surprised to score his maiden century after going through poor form after almost three years, taking India to 212/2. Centenary dedicated to wife Anushka and daughter Kohli said after the century, “The last two and a half years have taught me a lot. I am going to turn 34 in a month.
