Big setback to America's Moon mission

The US space agency NASA has once again postponed the launch of its ambitious Moon mission 'Artemis-1'. It was to be launched at 11.47 pm last night but it was postponed at the last minute. It is said to have had a dangerous leak when it was being refueled for final preparations for the test. Attempts were made to repair the fuel delivery system in the rocket, but due to lack of success, the launch was postponed for the time being. However, its new date has not been announced.

It is worth noting that earlier on August 29, its launch has been postponed due to technical fault and bad weather in the third of the four engines of the rocket. America is preparing to send humans once again to the moon through its Moon mission Artemis after 53 years and Artemis-1 is the first step in this direction. This is a test flight of the mission which will not have astronauts.

Mission Artemis-1 Moon is important for America

America and the Soviet Union were already competing to send satellites to the moon in the 60-70s. In 1961, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin was the first person to fly in space. This fueled the fears that the US would be left behind in this technical competition with the Soviet Union.

In 1969, man stepped on the moon for the first time.

NASA officials said that with its success, NASA will also give a green signal to launch the Mars Artemis program from the Moon. It is noteworthy that half a century before the Artemis-1 Moon mission, a spacecraft was sent to the Moon under the Apollo Lunar Mission. This was the US's third manned spaceflight program. It is also known as Project Apollo. Through this program prepared by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, preparations were made to send humans to the surface of the Moon from 1968 to 1972, and it was successful in this. Through this, in 1969, for the first time, man stepped on the first step on the surface of the Moon.
