Black-Day the History of India subcontinent - Black Truth

The date of August 14 has an important place in the history of the country and the world. The date of August 14 has been written in tears in the history of India's independence. This is the date when the partition of the country took place. Pakistan was declared a separate nation on 14 August 1947 and India on 15 August 1947. In this partition, not only the Indian sub-continent was divided into two, but Bengal was also divided. The eastern part of Bengal was carved out of India to form East Pakistan. It became Bangladesh after the 1971 war. Say it was called the partition of the country but it was the division of hearts, families, relationships, and feelings. This India-Pakistan partition wound on Mother India's chest will continue to ooze for centuries and generations to come will continue to feel the tinge of this most painful and bloody day of the day.

Perhaps that is why August 14 is called the most difficult day in Indian history. In this one day, the geography, society, and culture of India were all divided. Pakistan celebrates its Independence Day only on 14 AugustThis was the most complicated period for India. The families who have suffered the pain of partition have not forgotten it to date. Millions of people had to leave their homes because of just one decision. Had to leave his land and property. Lakhs of people were evicted from houses and shops and property overnight and came on the road. The tragedy of the India-Pakistan partition is one of the greatest tragedies of the twentieth century.

At the time of independence, the population of India was about 40 crores. India got independence but at the cost of partition. The Muslims were demanding a separate country for themselves long before independence. They were led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah of the Muslim League. In Hindu-majority India, Muslims made up about a quarter of the population. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India was against partition. Jinnah's insistence gave the British a chance to draw a line on the way from here. A streak that continues to stir up turmoil even today. The world saw the largest displacement because of this streak alone. About 1.45 crore people were displaced.

Lakhs of people died in the riots during the partition. Those who dreamed of freedom together, they were bent on killing each other. Women suffered the most. She had to pay the price for being a woman in the battle of men. Thousands of women were raped and mistreated in the riots. This pain was narrated by Sarla Dutt, who lives in Delhi. Sarla had said that she was only 15 years old at the time of the partition.

His father worked as a musician on a radio station in Jammu. He was kidnapped by a Pakistani soldier during the partition riots. Muslims occupied the settlement of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan. According to Sarla, she was forcibly married off to the brother of a Muslim soldier. They were given to read the Quran. If there was news of a crime against a Muslim woman in India, Hindu women would have been paraded naked there. Women had become the easiest victims of excesses.
