Anushka showers love on Kohli's 'Virat' innings, latest post going viral

But the 1020-day wait against Afghanistan in Dubai on Thursday came to an end in the 2022 Asia Cup when he scored his career-best 122 not out off just 61 balls. This is the first century of Virat's T20 International career while the 71st century of international cricket. Kohli equaled former Australia captain Ricky Ponting by scoring his 71st international century. Kohli was surprised to score his maiden century after going through poor form after almost three years, taking India to 212/2.
Centenary dedicated to wife Anushka and daughter
Kohli said after the century, “The last two and a half years have taught me a lot. I am going to turn 34 in a month. So, this century is special for me. Actually, I was surprised. This is the last format I thought of scoring runs." Kohli dedicated his 71st international century to his wife actress Anushka Sharma, helping him deal with his mental condition. He said it was a mixture of many things. Helped the team a lot.
That's why the ring was kissed
He said, "I kissed my ring. You see me standing here because one person has helped me a lot to get here. She is Anushka. This century is for him and also for our daughter Vamika." Kohli hit 12 fours and six sixes in his unbeaten 122, which had a mix of class and explosive cricket shots at the same time at a strike-rate of 200. He hit shorts in all four corners of the field.
