UK PM candidate Rishi Sunak reached with wife in the shelter of Lord Krishna on Janmashtami

 


Rishi Sunak, an Indian-origin candidate struggling to reach the post of Prime Minister of Britain, reached the shelter of Shri Krishna on Janmashtami. He worshiped Lord Krishna in a temple in London with his wife Akshata. Indian-origin Rishi Sunak is in the race to become the British PM. Rishi, who was the Finance Minister in Prime Minister Boris Johnson's cabinet, has resigned from the cabinet and has now joined the race to become Johnson's successor.

Sunak is now trying to get the votes of the Conservative Party workers. In many surveys, Rishi Sunak, who is being told behind his rival Liz Truss, reached Krishna Temple in London on Janmashtami. He tweeted his picture with his wife Akshata and wrote that they reached the temple to celebrate Janmashtami, the famous Hindu festival celebrated on the birthday of Lord Krishna.

He went to Bhaktivedanta Menor Temple in London and offered prayers there. This picture of Rishi Sunak has also become very popular. More than three thousand people reacted to Sunak's tweet and around 13 thousand people have retweeted it. 93 thousand people have liked the tweet containing the picture of Sunak and his wife Akshata.
