The blockbuster match between India and Pakistan is to be played on 28 August i.e. today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This match will be played at 7.30 pm. In this match, Pakistan's team will enter the field by tying a black band. The team has taken this decision to support the victims and those who lost their lives due to the floods in Pakistan. Pakistani captain Babar Azam also said this in the press conference.

Rain and floods caused huge destruction in Pakistan

In fact, the Pakistani cricket team will play with a black band on their hands in the Asia Cup T20 match against India on Sunday evening to express condolences to the flood victims in their country. Heavy rains have flooded Pakistan, causing massive destruction including loss of life and property in many states. Balochistan has been cut off from the rest of the country due to fresh rains. Pakistan captain Babar Azam appealed to the world to pray and help the flood victims of the country at the conference on Saturday, a day before the match.

According to local media, three crore people have been affected by the floods, and more than a thousand people are reported to have died. Apart from this, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued an official statement. It said, 'Pakistan cricket team will play its first match in Asia Cup today against the Indian team. In this match, the Pakistan team will play with the black band. This will be done to support the flood victims in Pakistan.

Team India will come out to avenge the defeat

Significantly, today the match between the two teams will be their first meeting after last year's T20 World Cup. The Babar Azam-led side won the match by 10 wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium at the same venue last year. It was a major achievement for Pakistan as they claimed their first win over the Men in Blue in a World Cup match. In such a situation, now after a gap of 10 months, these two countries are again facing to face. The team captained by Rohit Sharma will now have to avenge the past defeat.
