Every hour 18 people commit suicide in the country, keep mental health in this way
In the year 2021, 18 people chose the path of death every hour and every day in the country, while 1.64 lakh suicide cases were registered in the same year so far in India. This shocking figure has been released by the National Crime Records Bureau. According to the report, the suicide victims were troubled by problems like stress, violence, loneliness, and unemployment. Today, the problem of livelihood and loneliness has gripped everyone and in this runaway, we often ignore our mental health.
Today is World Mental Health Day and the increasing number of suicide cases in the country needs to be given serious thought. All the problems and pessimistic thoughts of life harm our brains and somewhere these negative thoughts are also a big reason for suicide.
On World Mental Health Day, let us know some important measures to maintain mental health –
- When you are stressed, do what you enjoy. For example, listen to your favorite music or read a book.
- Meditation is helpful in keeping stress away, so include meditation in your daily routine.
- Look at nature. Nature is a beautiful gift of God. When negative thoughts come, spend some time among plants and birds.
- do gardening. Gardening will make you feel good.
- Do not drink at all and get enough sleep.
- In case of severe pain, consult a doctor immediately.
- If you have negative thoughts or stress, talk your heart out to a friend or someone you trust.
