DG Prison hemant Lohia: Yasir Ahmed, the killer servant of DG Jail Hemant Lohia arrested

 



Jammu: The police has got a big success in the murder of Hemant Kumar Lohia, Director General of Police (Prisons) of Jammu and KashmirYasir Ahmed, the main accused in the murder, has been arrested. It is being told that the accused Yasir was hiding in the field of Kana Chakk in Jammu, from where the police caught him. At present, the police are interrogating the accused in connection with the murder of Lohia and trying to find out why Yasir carried out this incident. Did he do this at the behest of some terrorist organization?

Confirming the arrest of the accused in the murder of Director General of Police (Prisons) Hemant Kumar Lohia, ADGP Mukesh Singh said that the police are investigating the cause of the murder by interrogating him. Hemant Kumar Lohia went to the house of his friend Sanjeev Khajuria, living in Udayawala of Domana area, along with his wife and servant Yasir on Monday night. After some time, saying that there was a pain in the feet, he went to the other room with the servant for a massage. Meanwhile, Yasir killed him and fled after setting the room on fire.

Additional Director General of Police (Jammu region) Mukesh Singh said Lohia, a 52-year-old Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 1992 batch, was found dead at his Udaiwala residence on the outskirts of the city. His throat was slit. It is told that Yasir first strangled Hemant Kumar Lohia and slit his throat with a broken bottle of ketchup. Then later also tried to burn the dead body.

Yasir had been working at his house for six months. He is a resident of Ramban. After much time passed, the wife and family of Rajiv Khajuria went to that room and there was the dead body of Hemant Kumar Lohia stained with blood. These people informed the police about it. The police started a search to nab him and nabbed him from a field in Kana Chak, Jammu.
