Road Safety World Series: Traffic of Kanpur changed, No Vehicle Zone created here

 


Tight security arrangements have been made in view of the Road Safety World Series being played in Kanpur district of Uttar PradeshDue to the ongoing series in Green Park, major changes have been made in the traffic here. Let us inform that as per the instructions of the Commissioner of Police, a No Vehicle Zone has been created to control the traffic around the Green Park.

According to the information received, Commissioner of Police BP Jogdand took stock of the security arrangements and explained in detail about it to the police officers and personnel. He said that all the policemen arrived on duty in clean uniform (turn out) and take full vigilance. At the same time, Joint Commissioner of Police Anand Prakash Tiwari said that there will be no vehicle zone from DAV Tirahe to Merchants Chamber during the 06 day match from 10 to 15 September. During this time no vehicle will pass through here.

The Joint Commissioner of Police further said that for security, around 18 PTZ cameras have been installed on all sides of the exterior of the stadium. A control room has been set up in the stadium itself for monitoring. About 2,669 policemen have been deployed for the security of the match. At the same time, force will be deployed outside the stadium as well. So that there should not be any lapse in security.

It will be time for diversion

September 10, 2022: Will be applicable from 6 pm till the end of the match.

September 11: From 2 pm till the end of the match.

September 12, 13, 14 and 15: Will be applicable from 6 pm till the end of the match.
