Serena Williams Retires From Tennis

 


America's legendary tennis player Serena Williams has said goodbye to tennis. However, Serena Williams has to face defeat in the last match of her career. With the defeat in the third round of the US Open 2022, this match was being described as a farewell match for Serena Williams. Serena became very emotional after her defeat. Ajla Tomlijnovic of Australia defeated Serna 7-5, 6-7(4), 6-1 in the third round of the US Open. The match lasted for three hours and four minutes. Let us tell you that last month, Serena had indicated to retire from tennis. Then Serena said that she is slowly making distance from tennis.

After the match, Serena was quoted as saying by the official website of the US Open, "I thank all those who are here, who have been with me for so many years, decades. It all started with my parents. I am grateful to them. These are tears of joy, I feel like if my sister weren't Venus, I wouldn't be Serena. Thanks, Venus. She is the only reason Serena has ever existed." The WTA said in a tweet, "We are going to miss you on the court. Thank you Serena." It was his only third-round loss at the US Open since his 1998 debut against Irina Spiralya.

Former Tata Group chairman Cyrus Mistry passes away

    Cyrus Mistry , a famous industrialist and former chairman of Tata Group , died in a road accident.  It is being told that his speeding vehicle collided with the divider, due to which he died suddenly.  This accident happened in Palghar.  They are going from Ahmedabad to Mumbai.  His death has caused a wave of mourning in the business world.
