When will the festival of Janmashtami be celebrated - 18th or 19th August?

The festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month. According to Hindu religious beliefs, Lord Krishna was born on this day. Therefore, on this day the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great pomp. Lord Krishna was born on the eighth day of Bhadrapada month in Rohini Nakshatra. There is confusion regarding the dates even at the Janmashtami festival. In such a situation, like every time, this year also Janmashtami will be celebrated for two days.

The auspicious time of Shri Krishna Janmashtami is

Ashtami on 18th August at 12 midnight. It would be preferable to keep all fasts on this day. Because Shri Vishnu Purana, Vayu Purana, and Agni Purana, all confirm the birth of Shri Krishna during the half-night period. Ashtami will come after a night on 18th August, which will remain till 23 pm on 19th August. Therefore, it would be preferable to observe all the fasts on the 18th. Celebrate the birth anniversary on 19th August. Just as God was born in Mathura in Rohini Nakshatra at midnight on Ashtami Tithi, both the parents were hungry. Whereas the next day when the Lord reached Vrindavan, the festival was celebrated there. Similarly fast on 18th and celebrate on 19th.

Chandra and Rohini were in exalted sign at the time of the Lord's birth

When the Lord was born, Chandra was in his exalted sign in Rohini. It is said that the moon of Rohini takes away from the place of birth. At the time of birth, Sun was in Leo in the horoscope of Shri Krishna. If it is in the fourth house, then the native's lap of his mother is taken away. When Venus and Saturn are in the 6th house, it forms Jail Yoga. Because of this God was born in jail. Seeing this horoscope in Jupiter's benefic place, Capricorn's Mars in ninth, it can be said that this horoscope belongs to a great human. Mars, Saturn, Moon, and Buddha were in their exalted signs, Sun, Venus, and Guru were in their own signs. According to the birth chart of Shri Krishna, Shri Krishna was the incarnation of 16 arts.

Krishna, the ultimate seeker of Heron Mukhi, used the erectile mantra of Heron Mukhi many times. That's why he used to wear yellow clothes. Due to Rahu, Ketu, and Sun in the center, there was a combination of snake bites, which is why he used to wear peacock feathers. Saturn, The presence of Venus in Libra makes it elusive. For this reason, God is also called illusory.
