Johnson & Johnson will stop the sale of baby powder, it is alleged to be a dangerous disease

The products of this British giant Johnson & Johnson were considered very safe for young children around the world. The products of this company are also top-rated in India. But from next year i.e. 2023, you will not get baby powder from this company even in the Indian market.

38,000 customers complained

Johnson & Johnson has blocked the sale of this baby powder in the US and Canadian markets for more than two years. At present, more than 38 thousand cases are going on against this company. In fact, many women claimed that they got ovarian cancer after using baby talcum powder.

What is talcum

The talcum used in the company's baby powder is the softest mineral in the world and is made in many countries of the world. It is widely used in many industries including paper, plastics, and pharmaceuticals. This powder is used in nappy rash and other types of personal hygiene. However, it sometimes contains asbestos, which can cause cancer in the body.

It is noteworthy that American regulators also claimed that they have found cancer-causing ingredients in talcum-based baby powder from Johnson & Johnson Company. However, the company denied these allegations, while withdrawing its product due to declining sales in North America.
